TL DR: Sony rep was unable to reconcile the fact that the games were purchased (on all of my purchased lists) yet I apparently did not have licenses attached and was not being allowed to download. Either way he couldn't explain why I wasn't being allowed to purchase it then, if he was so sure that I hadn't actually purchased it. I stopped and corrected him right there that this was incorrect, and the Download List was a list of purchased titles. The rep was even trying to convince me that the "Download List" in the stores meant nothing and it would actually show you every single game available in the store. Maybe he happened to do it while I was on the call with this guy. I did speak via chat to a rep mid last week who said he'd fix/reset the licenses for me and it'd take 48 hours.
#RESOGUN VITA RESOLUTION PS4#
For some reason the PS4 version was appearing as available to purchase on the online store, too, even though I already own it (I shouldn't have even been given that option), so I added all three to the cart for good measure, purchased, and it finally downloaded fine on the Vita. I had been trying to only purchase the Vita/PS3 versions individually via the store which resulted in errors, and it didn't occur to me to get them together.
#RESOGUN VITA RESOLUTION LICENSE#
Trying to re-purchase through the online store gave another error.Īfter an hour of having the Sony rep tell me that I had a PS4 license and I hadn't purchased the Vita version, and me telling him that I was looking at my purchase history and saw the Vita version purchased on the 23rd of December (release day) but their system was improperly allocating new PS4 licenses instead of Vita licenses, and him coming back and saying "you purchased the PS4 version in November of 2013, and again on the 23rd of December" (which wouldn't be possible, given how their store works), he put me on hold after I spelled it out for him a fourth time, and I stumbled across this thread. The game showed up in my download list (since it was purchased), and only showed a Download button in the store, but trying to download through the store on the system resulted in NP-2244-2, and on the PS3 resulted in simply "An error has occurred". I got the game on both PS4 and Vita on their respective launch days, and I had the Vita license issues as well (purchased, downloaded, couldn't play due to license validation issues, then couldn't re-download). I had this issue and to this day could not get Resogun on the Vita or PS3, even though it worked fine on the PS4. Man, I think I just had the worst Sony rep I've ever had to deal with.
